Coaches

AMBA is looking for Coaches for all levels of play.

ALL AMBA Baseball Coaches/Assistant Coaches must have for Pembina League play:

1.  Complete the online Coaching Application - Baseball Coach online form

2.  Obtain a Criminal Record Check (request letter from Secretary or Coach Liaison)

ALL AMBA Softball Coaches/Assistant Coaches must have for Pembina League play:

1.  Complete the online Coaching Application - Softball Coach online form

2.  Obtain a Criminal Record Check request letter from Secretary or Coach Liaison)

3.  Have their Respect in Sport as required in 2023 by Softball Alberta Softball Canada Respect in Sport (Activity Leader) (valid for 3 years with Softball Alberta)

If an A Level Team and Coach/Assistant will be entering Provincials:

1.  Have their NCCP Certification - Baseball Alberta NCCP Requirements Please check the A age category requirements, NCCP Community Coach Stream

 or Softball (Community Softball) Softball Alberta Community Softball

2.  Have their Respect In Sport for Baseball Baseball Alberta Respect in Sport : Softball Softball Canada Respect in Sport

AA Baseball Coaches:

Baseball Alberta NCCP Requirements - Please check the AA age category in which you are interested in coaching.

 NCCP Training & Respect in Sport For Coaches fees will be reimbursed by AMBA. Please fill out your application online and upload your criminal record check as directed on RAMP.  Please send receipts to AMBA Treasurer for reimbursement.

Coaching applicants must have all requirements completed prior to season start.

Coaches must be first approved by AMBA Board to coach.  CRC, RIS, and any applicable certification must be uploaded in RAMP when registering prior to season start.

Deadline to submit your application to coach - April 1st

A coaches meeting will be scheduled prior to the start of the season

ALL COACHES MUST ATTEND 

If Coaches are not available, teams will not play.

To load your NCCP, CRC and RIS Certificate# onto your RAMP/SPORDLE Profile, please follow these instructions:

SOFTBALL

Click this link Athabasca Minor Softball Association-RAMP Registrations and sign into your RAMP Account

Go to My Family Members on the left side and click.  From that drop down menu, click on My Family Members again just below.  Your profile should come up on the right side.  Click edit under your name.  If you scroll down to the bottom on the right, there is a spot to upload your CRC File.  Your NCCP and RIS # will have a spot to fill as well.
